Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern bookings and service delivery by BrunswickBullies Mobile Microchipping ("we", "us", "our"). By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.

Last updated: 3 June 2026

1. Service Overview

We provide mobile pet microchipping services at customer-provided locations, including private addresses and agreed venues. Services may include chip implantation, scanning, confirmation of chip numbers, and support with registration steps where applicable.

2. Booking and Appointment Acceptance

Appointments are subject to availability and are not confirmed until accepted by us. You must provide accurate booking details, including contact information, location, and the number/type of animals to be chipped.

3. Owner Responsibilities

By booking, you confirm that:

  • You are the owner, keeper, or authorised representative for the animal(s).
  • The information you provide is accurate and complete.
  • The animal is presented in a condition reasonably suitable for handling and implantation.
  • You disclose relevant health, behavioural, and handling risks before treatment.
  • You keep registration details up to date with the relevant microchip database after implantation.

4. Animal Welfare and Suitability

Animal welfare is a priority. We may refuse, pause, or stop a procedure if we reasonably believe implantation would be unsafe, inappropriate, or not in the best interests of the animal or people present.

You are responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and controlled environment for treatment. Where required, suitable restraint assistance must be available.

5. Legal Compliance and Microchipping Rules

Microchipping obligations can vary by species, age, and jurisdiction. Our service supports compliance, but ultimate legal responsibility remains with the pet owner/keeper.

For dogs, legal rules on mandatory microchipping and up-to-date keeper details apply. It is your responsibility to ensure legal timelines and registration obligations are met, including updates after change of ownership, address, or contact information.

6. Registration and Database Records

Where registration support is included, we will provide or submit required details to an appropriate database process as agreed. Database processing times and records are controlled by the database operator.

We are not responsible for errors caused by inaccurate owner-supplied details or by delays, outages, or policies of third-party databases.

7. Fees and Payment

Service fees are provided at booking stage or on request. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due at the time of service. Additional charges may apply for extra animals, out-of-area travel, waiting time, or materially changed booking requirements.

8. Cancellations, Delays and No-Access Visits

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide as much notice as possible. We reserve the right to apply reasonable call-out or cancellation fees where a visit cannot proceed due to no attendance, no access, unsafe conditions, or inaccurate booking details.

We may reschedule due to travel disruption, severe weather, staff illness, safety concerns, or other events outside our reasonable control.

9. Risk, Liability and Limitations

Microchipping is a routine procedure, but all animal procedures carry some level of risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for losses arising from services is limited to foreseeable losses directly caused by our breach of duty.

We do not exclude or limit liability where unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes caused by incorrect owner information, failure to maintain updated database records, or failure to follow aftercare and legal obligations.

10. Aftercare and Follow-Up

You should monitor your pet after implantation and seek veterinary advice if you have concerns about health or behaviour. We may provide general post-procedure guidance, but this is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a veterinary professional.

11. Data Protection

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By booking, you acknowledge that personal and pet information may be used for appointment administration, service records, and registration-related processes.

12. Intellectual Property

Website content, branding, logos, and materials are owned by or licensed to BrunswickBullies and may not be copied, distributed, or reused without permission except where legally allowed.

13. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us promptly with booking details and a summary of the issue so we can investigate and respond.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect legal, regulatory, or operational changes. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless applicable law provides otherwise.
